Hand-forged flat hoe no. 1604 from Krumpholz with varnished 135 cm ash handle and 1.5 kg head weight. The extra hard cutting edge is very well suited for stony and hard soils and is versatile. The flat hoe is used like an embankment hoe, but has a slightly narrower blade and is therefore somewhat more powerful at certain points and even more efficient at cutting through roots or stones.

Care instructions
Dry off after use. Storage in dry and unheated rooms, barns or garden sheds. When stored in heated rooms, the stem dries out and loses elasticity. The stem can then break more easily than with proper storage. If necessary, treat the handle with a wood oil or simply linseed oil.
