Bolich works 1911

Eugen Bolich, born in 1882 in Odenheim, Baden, founded the company Bolich & Neuhäusel in his wife’s native Hesse, Offenbach am Main. The main focus is the production of reflectors as well as electrical and lighting articles.

1919 – 1921

Eugen Bolich builds a factory for the production of “lights of all kinds” in his home town of Odenheim.

1922 – 1933

The famous lamps of the EBOLICHT collection are developed and can be successfully sold in the Weimar Republic.

1939 – 1945 (second world war)

Partial forced conversion of production to armaments.

1960

The founder of the company, Eugen Bolich, dies in the night from 22 to 23 January. in the event of an accident. There are no direct descendants. Within the community of heirs, 50 percent of the company is held by the Bolich family. As a result, the Columbus plant in Bruchsal is sold.

Anton Bolich, the brother of the company founder, meanwhile living in Neuhausen auf den Fildern, takes over the Bolichwerke in Odenheim as heir and transforms it into a family limited partnership. His goal is to preserve jobs in Odenheim.

2000

The classic luminaires from the founding period, which have been manufactured by the Bolichwerke since 1911, are being brought back into focus under the term “EBOLICHT Collection” – a reminder of the company’s founder Eugen Bolich.

2011

Bolichwerke celebrates its 100th anniversary.
