The essential feature of a spork is the zigzag-shaped cutting edge. The blade is hand forged from high quality Boron steel.
Boron steel is a very hard yet flexible steel that is also used in high-performance automotive components. The hand-forged, razor-sharp points are extremely robust and allow unique, effortless penetration into hard soils or through solid roots, while resharpening themselves. The SPORK penetrates the ground effortlessly through the recesses in the blade. The holes in the tool support the functional principle and at the same time reduce the weight.
The many different sporks from Krumpholz offer here for all gardeners the right gardening tool for the required requirement.
Hand-forged garden tools from the German tool manufacturer Krumpholz. Krumpholz has been forging since 1799 and is still family owned. Spades, shovels, rakes, hoes, weeders, planting trowels and many other useful garden tools are forged from Swedish steel at the highest quality level. Durable, resilient ash wood is used for the wooden handles and grips. Best quality for the highest demands in gardening.
Care instructions
Dry off after use. Storage in dry and unheated rooms, barns or garden sheds. When stored in heated rooms, the stem dries out and loses elasticity. The stem can then break more easily than with proper storage. If necessary, treat the handle with a wood oil or simply linseed oil.
