HOW DO I SHARPEN MY ORIGINAL LÖWE SCISSORS?

To do this, place the long edge of your blade sharpener on the cutting edge of the blade and pull the blade at an angle of around 20°-30° several times without applying too much pressure. For anvil scissors, repeat this process on the other side of the blade; for bypass scissors, remove the blade from one side only.

If the original LÖWE cutting performance no longer matches the original cutting feel, the blade should be sharpened. For optimum sharpening of your Original LÖWE scissors, we recommend our Original LÖWE blade sharpener. We do not recommend grinding or sharpening with a conventional whetstone or grinding machine, as these tools can have a negative effect on the quality of the blade.
